Application Questions – and Answers!

Hey BU!

With the upcoming ASB Coordinator Application deadline, we’ve been receiving quite a few questions regarding specifics of our application. To make things easier for everyone, here are answers to some of the most common problems.

When is the application due? And where can I find it?

The application is due this Friday, September 30th at 4:00 PM. It can be downloaded from this website under the tab Applications.

How long should my essay responses be?

Please limit your responses to two pages total, i.e. your combined page length for your answers to questions 1, 2 and 3 should be two pages. Your references should be listed separately.

My recommendation letter might not make it here by the deadline – what do I do?

First, check in with your recommender and make sure they have mailed your form. Please encourage them to do so quickly. If they have, don’t worry; as long as we receive your recommendation by the time of your interview, you should be okay. However, we would much prefer that you submit a complete application at the firm deadline.

How do I sign up for a group interview?

When you drop off your application in the Community Service Center (4th Floor of the GSU), be sure to ask any of the Program Managers in the office how to sign up – basically, there’s a list of interview times available on the wall of the D-Space, our back creative space in our office. Any Program Manager can show you where to go!

Other questions? Send them all to, and either Leif or Suchie will get back to you as soon as possible. But, first be sure to check out our FAQs and job description pages.

Good luck!
Leif & Suchie
